FICTA (Foundation for ICT Advancement) is a non-profit organisation registered in Zambia. We operate the website www.fictazm.org and provide ICT training and digital skills programs across Zambia. For privacy matters, you may contact us at the details in Section 9.

Data is collected when you: • Submit our Training Application form • Submit our Partnership Enquiry form • Message us directly on WhatsApp or via email Our contact forms transmit data directly to our WhatsApp account via the wa.me API. We do not store form submissions on any server — they arrive as WhatsApp messages.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use your data solely to: • Respond to your training or partnership enquiry • Onboard you into a FICTA program • Contact you with updates relevant to your enquiry We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Legal Basis for Processing
Under the Zambia Data Protection Act No. 3 of 2021, we process your data on the basis of: • Your consent — given when you submit a form or message us • Legitimate interest — to deliver the services you requested You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
6. Data Retention
Form submissions are retained as WhatsApp messages for as long as necessary to deliver the requested service. If you ask us to delete your data, we will remove it from our communications within 30 days of your request.
